Born and raised in Westhampton, NY, Gina fell in love with dance at an early age. At two she began learning tap and jazz and by the time she graduated high school she had competed on a national level as a soloist and competition member. During her time in Westhampton, Gina also began to explore the art of teaching and creating dance when she was introduced to the art of musical theater and choreography, earning a Teeny Award for her work on Westhampton Beach High School's Guys and Dolls. In 2012, Gina began to pursue her Drama Performance Major and Musical Theatre Minor at Hofstra University where she trained under Cindy Rosenthal, Jean Dobie Geibel, Cathy Murphy, Anita Feldman, Andy Abrams, and Donna Balson in acting, dance, and voice. In addition to achieving several stage credits during her time at Hofstra, Gina also earned an Alphie Award for her choreography of Kara--Lynn Vaeni's As You Like It as well as successfully applied for and completed her senior repertory piece Seussical the Musical, which she choreographed and starred in as Gertrude McFuzz, a role which she earned critical praise for. After graduation, Gina moved to Orlando, FL where she was a Character and Parade Performer at Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts where she was a swing for Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and cast in Mickey's Backyard Barbecue Dinner Show. At the close of her performing contract at Disney World, Gina went onto be a Character and Show Performer for Disney Cruise Line, where she was cast in Disney's Wishes and Mickey's Pirates of the Caribbean. Today, looking ahead to the future, Gina hopes her career will bring her to many more performing, choreographing, and teaching opportunities, so that she may continue to pursue and share her love of performing.
